Portfolio Risk Monitoring & Analysis: Investment Bank
Credit risk monitoring and reporting for a global investment bank
Responsibilities:
· Analyzing / monitoring credit risk within the major financial institution portfolio on a global and regional basis
· Participation in the development of new analyses as well as participation in the production of various existing analyses including:
· Quarterly and monthly Americas Region Risk Reporting. Regional and sectorial analyses
· Contribute to the Watch List and Defaulted Loan management process & analysis
· Identify signs of future credit deterioration for obligors in the global portfolio
· Estimating potential losses associated within portfolio under Basle II guidelines
Requirements:
· 6+ years working in a corporate lending environment with a major financial institution.
· Solid credit analysis skills, perceptive credit judgment, solid business skills and a concern for attention to detail.
· In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, financial instruments and markets, financial structuring, and financial accounting.
· Business / Finance related degree.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong Excel computer skills. Knowledge of Access / Sybase is a plus. In-depth experience with Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P etc.
