Portfolio Accounting Specialist

The Outsourced Accounting Group at Clark Schaefer Hackett is currently looking to hire a Portfolio Accounting Specialist for it's downtown Cincinnati office.

Job Description:

Working closely with our senior partners, provide portfolio accounting and reporting services to clients, assist clients with monitoring investment and portfolio performance and address issues/questions and provide problem resolution as needed.

 

Required Education & Experience:Maintain portfolio accounting records for clients Monitor income received and reconcile information on 1099’s to clients’ recordsUpdate records for investment transactionsCommunicate with asset custodians to resolve issuesPrepare portfolio reports monthly, quarterly or annualls May respond to tax notices for clients May perform reconciliations to insure accuracy/completeness of financial dataMay reconcile clients’ records [with Pension Department in Middletown for contribution and payments] prior to year-endReconcile asset custodian statements

Required Education & Experience:Associates or Bachelors is required; Accounting majors are strongly preferred 2-5 years of accounting or book keeping experience1-2 years of professional experience with portfolio accounting or reportingConceptual knowledge of securities markets and portfolio managementStrong organizational and record keeping skills requiredCommitment to integrity and confidentiality
