Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees! JOB DESCRIPTION: The Plant Controller supports the Jonesboro Team in establishing and achieving operational plans and goals. Provides leadership in the development of policies, systems, and financial procedures. Responsibilities include: Compile monthly operating results and review with Plant Management Coordinate and prepare annual plant operating and capital budgets, as well as revisions Establish and maintain adequate Property Accounting records and procedures Participate in long range operations planning Coordinate monthly and fiscal year-end closes Maintains required Internal Controls procedures and accounts payable system Development of new product costing Develop Direct Reports Work closely with Operations management to educate associates on product costs Provide Financial Leadership to all levels of management at the plant; participate in plant decision making to bring a financial outlook to the discussion.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 7-10 years experience in Accounting field Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing cost accounting environment with increasing levels of responsibility Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills Skill in using mainframe systems, databases, and other applications Advanced Excel skills and proficient with all Microsoft Office applications Ability to lead and coach in High Performance Work System environment Ability to develop and mentor others To apply, please visit www.ralcorp.com.
