Plant Controller
Plant Controller
Fortune 200 company, with operations around the world, has a location in Coamo, Puerto Rico and seeks a Controller to direct all phases of the financial and accounting activities of the business including: on-site manufacturing, sales, engineering, and physical distribution functions. In addition, provide consultation to Plant and Divisional Management and communicate areas of opportunity. Also, provide leadership and direction to Information Technology. This person is responsible for the Coamo, Puerto Rico and Haina, DR plants.
Responsibilities:Determine the financial information needs of the business and provide same to plant and Division personnel. Leads the plant planning, forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, asset management, and financial reporting requirements to operate the business efficiently.Analyzes the performance of the business against goals and recommend specific actions.Evaluates capital appropriations to ensure investments generate acceptable returns.
