 Notice Resolution Supervisor

General Purpose: To oversee the Notice Resolution Department in Shared Services ensuring that all full tax client's agency notices are responded to timely. Support PAl Branch Offices as required while supporting Notice Resolution Staff with operational procedures and PayChoice protocol.

Supervision and Direction Received: Under the direction of a the Notice Resolution Manager or other designated authority

Supervision and Direction Exercised: Notice Resolution Specialists

Machines and Equipment Used: Telephone, calculator, PC, Internet, FAX machine, photo copier, and scanner

Typical Duties:

Train new personnel and delegate work as needed

Assist team members in resolving issues

Ensure that tax notices are delegated timely and respectively

Ensure that Goldmine is updated and linked properly

Ability to work with MasterTax, Taxsight, and payroll applications; PayChoicelEncore

Resolve all escalated Levy's / Tax Notices

Research more difficult notices and bring to the attention of the NR Manager as needed

Review branch initiated check requests if needed for NR Manager before final approval.

Prepare monthly statistics for manager as required

Develop relationships with taxing authorities for tax issues / tax resolution

Handle inquiries/requests flum branches, taxing authorities, and other departments

• Answer Notice Resolution phone timely and professionally while responding to email and fax correspondence

Complete requests and projects as assigned by Notice Resolution Manager

• Assist NR Manager with any additional projects with the ability to triage and

troubleshoot:

Client's PayChoice historical payroll data

Ability to research tax issues / requests from prior notices Create Amended Retoms if required

Notice Resolution testing for new procedures

Requirements: Associates Degree preferred and AP A certification. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
