Payroll Supervisor - Downtown San Diego!
Stable & team-oriented government office has an opening for a newly created Payroll Supervisor position who will oversee the payroll processes for 2 out of the 3 organizational entities.
Responsibilities:Process and input payroll for 350-400 employees.Prepare the Health & Welfare, and Pension reports.Maintain and prepare union employee deductions and payments.Prepare monthly wage garnishment payments in addition to contacting any Attorneys or the IRS on any problems.Verify employee attendance, vacation, and sick records.Prepare labor performance reports.Prepare monthly payroll data entry for General Ledger.Prepare yearly insurance report for salaried employees.Process semi-monthly payroll.Oversee 3 Payroll Coordinators.
Requirements:Minimum 5-7 years of payroll experienceMinimum 2-3 years of supervisory experienceWorking knowledge of ADP Payroll software and CalPERS is highly preferredComputer literate with MS OfficeAnalytical thinker with the ability to problem solveTeamplayer
