For over 80 years, Hammer has been a leader in services for people with developmental disabilities.  Headquartered in Wayzata, we have residential facilities in St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Plymouth and Maple Grove. We are excited to be expanding our services and are currently looking for an experienced, dedicated individual who has a passion for people with disabilities to fill the following role:

 

Payroll Specialist/Staff Accountant

 

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Payroll Specialist/Staff Accountant who enjoys variety and a business casual work environment to work in our Wayzata headquarters. The ideal candidate would be able to carry out the following responsibilities:

-  Bi-Weekly Payroll & Time and Attendance for 300+ Employees

-  Process Benefit Paperwork

-  Tracking all incoming revenue

-  Prepare statements

-  Assist with Accounts Payable Coding

-  Occasional fill-in as receptionist as needed

 

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

-  Two-year accounting/business degree or equivalent experience

-  Microsoft Office proficiency

-  Experience working with Solomon

-  Experience working with Ceridian’s Payroll and Time & Attendance

-  10 key experience

-  Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing

-  Excellent written and verbal skills

-  Strong organizational skills

-  Excellent team contributor skills
