PSSI has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist / Accountant to join one of our growing clients located in the Nashua, NH area.  The payroll specialist is responsible for preparation and accurate processing of the company payroll.  

 

Our client seeks candidates with the following experience, skills and knowledge:Assist employees on all payroll-related issuesInput and audit payroll transactions, employee tax information; reconcile employee data and deduction changes; maintaining payroll records and employee filesEnsure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as company policies and proceduresMaintain vacation, 401K, Stock Option Administration, benefits deductions and expense reimbursements through payroll databasePerform month end payroll reconciliations and prepare payroll related Journal EntriesCreate and document Payroll policies and procedures in accordance with SOX requirementsResearch and ad hoc projects as assigned

 

Requirements:Degree in Accounting or related field preferred 3+ years of solid Full Cycle Payroll experience Progressive payroll experience in multi-state and international environments. Proficient with ADP, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
