Payroll - Special Projects Manager

Review project request and/or Audits to determine what is needed and provide documentation accordingly.Maintain accurate and updated data for the stock program (run all stock reports for updating purposes, Transmit UBS Optionee Import file weekly, Transmit UBS Tax File as needed and review files sent from UBS etc.)Reconcile and remit 401-K contributions.Run/create and/or modify reports as needed.Review banking on a daily basis (check for pay exceptions that are listed on the banks positive pay program for all our payroll accounts.)Co-Ordinate all reporting needs to internal departments to identify opportunities for consolidation and to manage the entire reporting process.Complete and file with various agencies returns and/or statistical reporting not handled by ADP tax filing.Assist in gathering documents for SOX testing.Assist with testing, training and development of all systems.Prepare W-2 C?s as required and providing adjustments to ADP.Responsible for 3 direct reports (staff mostly supports clerical functions of the entire payroll dept.)Work with all payroll management staff to identify potential to consolidate processes which would create greater efficiencies.Responsible for insuring that the companies' document destruction policy is properly enforced.Responsible for devising a year end process which will facilitate requests for W-2 copies.Responsible for insuring that all payroll documents are received timely and devise/maintain a tracking system which will allow us to recognize missing information.Requirements: Self starter.Excellent organizational skills.Excellent management skills.Ability to work well with others.Ability to multitask.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Detail oriented.Must have working knowledge of adp's pcpw application and their adjustmate productFamiliar with adp's standard reports.Creating and modifying reports utilizing adp reportsmith.Proficient in excel and word.Access and kronos knowledge a plus.
