Payroll Lead

CITY/STATE: Roseville, CA 95661POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceSALARY: 45,000.00 - 55,000.00 USD /year Payroll Lead     Payroll Lead will be responsible for managing and directing payroll operations according to federal, state and local regulations as well as company policy. Provide leadership and supervision of staff. Conduct audits to validate the integrity of human resources and payroll data. Implements all new programs, contracts, corporate policies and rate changes. Formulates payroll and personnel processing procedures and documentation. Enforces all contracts including company, state, federal and union contract obligations. Provides statistical data to management via ad hoc queries and reports. Maintains current knowledge of human resources systems and payroll processing procedures.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting or related field. 5+ years of progressive experience managing a complex payroll, including management of a large staff. Advanced knowledge of payroll and tax laws, wage and hour regulations and union contracts.
