Payroll Clerk ResponsibilitiesCompute and disburse wages and salaries, deductions, taxes and other withholdings.Post payroll data and prepares routine reports and/or payments to government agencies, insurance companies and others.Calculate and process special checks, reviews, edits and makes corrections and adjustments as needed.Work both independently and as a member of the team to accomplish departmental goals.Must comply with established deadlines and procedures.Exercise good judgment in performing responsibilities and identifying potential issues to team management.

Essential Payroll Clerk Skills & Characteristics

Requirements2+ years of Payroll experienceMust have Kronos, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards experienceMust have strong oral/written communication skills and be results-orientedIntermediate MS Word, Excel and Outlook skillsAbility to take initiative to successfully complete assignments by utilizing all available resources such as online resource toolsMust present in a polished and professional manner
