Job Description:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for verifying timesheets and payroll reports and inputting payroll and supporting documentation for new hires to ensure compliance with government regulations.  This position will also be responsible for preparing journal entries, completing requests for wage information and handling compliance issues; maintaining and assisting with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and researching, resolving and responding to payroll/tax reporting issues.  This candidate performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum of an Associates Degree and/or additional work experience relevant to accounting and payroll procedures.  Must have 2 – 3 years experience in accounting, with high focus on details and accuracy.  Above average skills in mathematical computations.

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

 

· Knowledgeable and efficient in Microsoft Office Applications

· Must be advanced in Excel

· Strong payroll background

· Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)

· Strong organizational skills

 

Preferred:  

 

· ADP and Payroll Tax Reporting experience are a plus!
