Part Time Bookkeeper—QuickBooks

AB Biosciences is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our staff. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for aiding in the billing process. He or she will also be working on accounts payable / receivable as well as monthly reporting. Qualified candidates will have advanced QuickBooks experience and knowledge of accounting practices.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and collections

• Manage month-end close, bank reconciliations and preparation of financial statements

• Enter credit card receipts and reconcile credit card statement

• Special projects as needed

Experience Required:

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Well-spoken and articulate in both verbal and written communications

• Ability to maintain focus and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles

• 3-5 years experience as a bookkeeper

This is a part time position (approx. 10) hours per week.
