Operational Due Diligence Manager

We are currently seeking an Operational Due Diligence Manager for our Transaction Services group in the New York City office. The Operational Due Diligence (ODD) group is part of our Mergers and Acquisitions /Transaction Services practice and provides advisory services to clients on matters throughout the mergers and acquisitions deal life cycle. The ODD group helps clients evaluate acquisition candidates based on their operational performance and synergy expectations. The ODD group strives to help clients make informed decisions on whether to proceed with the deal and how to value it. Clients are primarily private equity houses, strategic buyers, and investment banks. Responsibilities: * Lead small teams that are responsible for performing operational assessments of target companies * Analyze business and operational plans and pro-forma financial models to identify key business assumptions and value drivers * Lead projects and be responsible for all aspects of project quality * Lead performance measurement and management analyses Qualifications: * Master's degree from an accredited college/university * Strong academic performance (demonstrated through GPA, GMAT/GRE scores) * Minimum of five years of full-time work experience * Demonstrated ability in conducting basic quantitative and numerical analysis * Strong communication skills and the ability to make effective �C' level presentations * Ability to lead a project and deliver quality results * Understanding of the fundamental elements within a business delivery system * Knowledge of differences in delivery systems across various sectors * Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement * Familiarity with operational metrics within inventory, production, logistics, supply chain, sales and customer service * Understanding of management accounts including assessing Business Unit (BU) level cost and performance drivers * Experience in designing and conducting interviews with managers and industry participants KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
