Oil & Gas Analyst

TheUniversity of Texas System, University Lands is seeking a RevenueSpecialist (Oil & Gas Analyst) to serve ina leadership role in performing accounting, auditing, and analyticalassignments involving the enhancement of revenues and the verification andreconciliation of lease agreements and contracts.

 

MonthlySalary:  $4,118 (negotiable depending onqualifications)

 

EssentialFunctions:  Performdesk, company, and field audits to monitor compliance with statutes, leaseagreements, and contracts. Perform audits and accounting of take-in-kind oiland gas production, disposition, and revenues. Reconcile ledgers to verify thatroyalties have been remitted and discrepancies have been addressed. Provideguidance and training to analysts. Maintain contract files on a regular basis.Perform special projects for U. T. System and other parties, as needed. Overseethe daily revenue accounting activities.

 

Interestedindividuals must have a Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration or a field related to the nature of the position with a minimumof three years experience in commercial or governmental accounting and/orauditing.
