Fisher Investments is a privately-held investment management firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with a track record of successfully managing portfolios for high-net-worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. We've grown significantly over the past decade to over $45 billion in assets under management as of December 31, 2007 and are now searching for a Office Services Supervisor to join our team in our San Mateo, CA location.

 

The Office Services Supervisor will be responsible for supervising Fulfillment Associates with their daily tasks. They will be relied upon to supervise and maintain the flow of Fulfillment Processes, Copy Center, Seminar and Mail Center duties. The Supervisor must be able to solve service issues in a quick and efficient manner and be comfortable working in a fast pace environment. They will be expected to recommend improvements to current and future processes.

 

Occasionally the Office Services Supervisor will assist with coordinating additional document-archiving and classification projects for the company. During high volume periods, the Supervisor must be willing to assist where needed, including, but not limited to, sorting packages/documentation, batch processing, inventory, sales requests, Account Executive requests, copy requests, outbound seminar supplies and outbound UPS shipments.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Supervise Fulfillment Associates
• Must be able to keep individuals on task and focused on completing daily in /outbound workflow.
• In charge of monthly, quarterly and yearly statement reports.
• Perform "spot audits" within all function of the Service Center once a week.
• Periodically review Service Center equipment, technology, process and procedures to insure we have the proper equipment and process in place to complete our daily task.
• Document and escalate employee and all service issues to the Operations Manager.
• Train new employees and cross-train existing employees.
• Audit inventory to insure proper materials are maintained.
• Make all equipment service calls.
• Make sure the office is kept clean and organized daily.
• Ensure absent employees functions are backfilled.

 

Qualificiations:

 

• Ability to supervise several individuals and lead by example
• Good problem solving skills and process improvement knowledge.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Possess above average computer skills including knowledge with basic MS Office software.
• Strong organizational skills in time and task management
• High attention to detail
