Office Assistant – Long Beach

Summary

 

The Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support where needed in the company.  Primary assistance will be utilized in the Accounting department.  Weekly tasks include file scanning, assisting with group auditing, researching files, and preparing checks.  In addition, the office assistant will be the primary front desk receptionist back-up for breaks and lunches.  When necessary, the office assistant may assist other departments with general office duties.

 

Our office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.  This position is a flexible part-time position (Approx. 20-25hrs. per week) within those stated office hours.  We will work with your schedule.

 

Qualifications:

 High school graduateDetail-oriented, with accuracy highly valuedAdept at operating standard office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, etc.)Type 40wpm and 10-key proficient preferred but not requiredMS Word, Excel and OutlookArticulate communicator, verbally and in writing Excellent customer service skillsPleasant disposition with a positive attitude
