We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join us in our Houston office. Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day administrative and client engagement support for the Audit Partner in Charge and the management team which includes maintaining electronic calendars and email traffic, scheduling travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, time and expense reporting, and diners card reconciliation - Lead and supervise the Administrative Assistant team for the Audit practice, as well as manage resources to help ensure appropriate coverage - Assist in hiring of new personnel - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of office functions, KPMG's business, and the firm's service - Handle sensitive and confidential information including but not limited to personnel and budgetary matters - Oversee orientation and training for new and contract administrative personnel - Assign work to others as necessary to help ensure workflow coordination among administrative team members - Coordinate the performance management process for administrative support personnel - Prepare memos and correspondence for internal and external distribution with minimal direction - Coordinate space management needs for the Audit practice Qualifications: - Ten years of progressive administrative experience with six years of executive level administrative work within a large corporate or professional services environment - Two years of supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Experience making domestic and international travel arrangements - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to prioritize assignments and work under pressure with short deadlines - Team player with a positive attitude, and ability to work overtime as needed - Ability to exercise independent judgment while working with a variety of high level administrative tasks and anticipate the needs of the management team KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
