Non-profit ACCOUNTANT– Full-time Salary: Competitive

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro Area, a non-profit organization, is currently seeking an ACCOUNTANT. His or her role is to carry out the following tasks:

ü  Oversee all company accounting practices, preparing budgets, statements of cash flow, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reports, tax, and audit functions.

ü  Directs financial planning and forecasts; conferring with CEOs

ü  Setting Standards:  Leadership position where performance and overall organization expectations are modeled.

The Accountant is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officers in managing the over-all operational finances including, maintaining grant records, status of financial accounts (endowments, savings, checking), budget planning, and administration of finances. 

Position Requirements ·         Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and responsibilities.·         Experience with QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Excel.·         5-10 plus years experience in non-profit accounting a must.·         BA in related field. CPA preferred but not required.
