National Account Manager – Oil and Gas Industry / Industrial Division Sales/ Houston Texas, USA

Design Group Staffing Inc. has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a National Account Manager to work for one of the leading global manufacturers and suppliers of rolling bearing related products, solutions and services, such as bearings, seals, lubrication systems, mechatronics and services.

Job Description:

The Emerging Business team is a business with tremendous growth potential and is looking for a National Account Manager to support this growth. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for developing relationships along with high value customer projects and Account Management. The individual selected for this position will be part of a team-based selling organization and will help prioritize the efforts of customer service, applications engineering, and other platform resources. The candidate will be responsible for generating opportunities and managing customer projects to meet the market demands with a Value added solutions supporting the oil and gas industries. This position is located in Houston, Texas USA

Key Accountabilities

· Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets in line with the business plan and strategic direction of Emerging business unit in Industrial Division Sales USA

· Strengthen current relationships and develop further long-term commercial and technical relationships within the account base

· Grow sales of value added solutions with oil and gas customers

· Lead multi-functional teams on selected customer projects

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management

· Self-motivated and execution focused with an ability to meet deadlines

· Enjoy working in a team environment without losing focus on target achievement

· Experience in Six Sigma and project management experience preferred

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

· Demonstrated achievement in past commercial or technical roles

· Working knowledge of Siebel or similar Customer Relation Management (CRM) application

· Must be willing to travel at least 25% or as customer needs dictate.
