NY - Financial & Accounting Analyst - Great Opportunity
Widex Hearing Aid Company, Inc. committed to excellence in producing the world's finest digital hearing instruments has a tremendous opportunity for a full-time Financial & Accounting Analyst, reporting to the CFO in its Garden City Park, Long Island facility.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring financial data pertaining to customer pricing, rebates, selected account conditions, and incentive programs, while creating and analyzing system reports relating to customers and products for various departments. In addition, the candidate will act as the liaison with outside programmers to design, implement, test and monitor the status of software projects & system improvements for the Finance and Accounting Departments.
The qualified candidate must be able to function in a team environment as well as perform individual tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines and possess strong organizational skills. In addition, must work effectively with all management levels and staff affiliates while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess a Bachelors Degree preferably in either accounting or business related field, plus five years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of IBM AS400 a plus.
