Mutual Fund/Back Office Ops Associate Sought for Fortune 100 Financial Services Firm in Newark, DE!

 Financial Services establishment in Newark, DE, seeks bright, motivated candidate to join their Mutual Fund Operations group for a long-term temporary engagement.  The Group processes third party mutual fund trades for both retail and managed accounts via numerous trading portals, as well as dividend and settlement services.  This position offers a great opportunity to get your foot into the door of a leading company in the financial services industry!! Some responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Â·  Receive mutual fund orders via client’s systems·  Download orders and manually input into Phase3 order entry link via NSCC·  Update order status on trade date ·  Confirm order trade detail on T+1 (Shares, Price, dollar amount)·  Settle trades with Private Bank and Cash Management on Settlement date·  Update accounts to reflect monthly dividend cash and reinvest postings·  Process both incoming and outgoing non ACAT transfers·  Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS to PB Middle Office Essential Qualifications: Â·  BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business ·  2-5 years of mutual fund and/or back office operations experience preferred·  National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC Fund/SERV) knowledge highly desired·  Strong Technical Skills: some working knowledge of Phase3, DTC, and/or AXSPoint·  Must be detail-oriented and conscientious about accuracy **Please Note: Qualified Candidate must be available to interview & start immediately!!** If you meet all of these qualifications, please forward resume to VanessaMonteiro@mergisgroup.com with reference code: JP.08.08.20.MF in the subject line.
