Communicates the business strategy and objectives as well as individual performance goals and metrics. The Manager of Accounting provides technical accounting counsel and support to Sears Holdings Corporation. Focus is on understanding accounting and reporting implications for significant, complex or uncommon transactions, as well as understanding ramifications of new accounting and reporting requirements. This individual will work closely with the Controller and Asst. Controller as well as other Corporate accounting/finance functions. Ensures all associates on the accounting team understand their roles have a direct financial impact upon the business.
