Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Zoltek Corporation is currently searching for a full time Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to assist the Accounting Department and provide leadership in a growing environment. The ideal candidate must be able to interact with both peers and executive management in a positive manner. This position has potential for internal growth and provides a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Job Description

 

· Work with operations management, executive management and accounting to develop the Company’s annual budget.

 · Implement monthly forecasting process across organization.

· Review Actual results, Forecasts and Budgets and provide comprehensive analysis to executive management.

· Continually improve the process for assessing and analyzing divisional performance.

· Analyze monthly financial data and work with division management to investigate any significant variances from budget/forecast.

· Work in coordination with the corporate accounting team to prepare the Quarterly Package and coordinate department review of financial data. This package is used by management and external auditors.

· Assist Director of Financial Reporting with monthly/quarterly closing, SEC reporting and managerial reporting, as needed.

· Versatility is a must.  A substantial portion of daily tasks will be dedicated to special projects, as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

 Proficient in Excel and Word.

 Five years plus experience with two or more years experience with financial planning.

 Experience in a manufacturing organization

 Two years experience in forecasting 

 Experience with financial software packages, i.e. General Ledger, Financial  Reporting 

 International experience and experience with currency issues 

 Possesses strong analytical skills

 Ability to apply analytical skills to solve problems and resolve issues

 CPA preferred

 Masters desired
