Manager of Education and Professional Development

 

Position Description:

 

As a result of continued growth, The Bonadio Group is currently seeking a Manager of Education and Professional Development to play the lead role in developing and executing firm-wide educational programs as part of the Professional Excellence Division.
 
Responsibilities: Command responsibility for design and delivery of training programs, whether purchased from outside vendors or developed in-house.Design and develop training materials/curriculum and programs for various audiences.Work with Human Resources as it relates to the on boarding of new hires in order to determine appropriate processes and programs for training.Review and evaluate effectiveness of programs and presenters and recommend improvements.Responsible for conducting training programs (unless outside vendor is recommended for a particular program) as well as train-the-trainer programs.Establish and maintain relationships with Partners, HR, and Professional Excellence team members across the firm, to be aware of potential training needs and to help them analyze performance deficiencies within their respective groups.Develop project timeline, milestones, responsibilities and overall project plan for training and manage that plan throughout the process.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a combination of public accounting industry as well as training and development experience.  A minimum of 5 years overall combined experience in these areas is required.Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college/university (Accounting or Human Resources/Organizational Development concentrations are preferred).Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership, requiring excellent communication and follow-through skills.Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding internal client relationships.
