Manager, Regulatory and Compliance

Advisory professionals are also able to provide clients with relevant industry and functional skills where they need them most. We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Dallas-Ft. Worth team based out of our Tyson's Corner office and focused on the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry. Internal Audit Regulatory and Compliance (IARC) Service professionals help organizations enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of critical in-house governance, internal audit, and regulatory compliance functions. The IARC professionals, focused on regulatory and compliance, help clients proactively comply with regulatory requirements as well as effectively secure and monitor systems and data to help improve the compliance functions. We help mitigate regulatory and compliance risks that could lead to losses from non-compliance, litigation, or regulatory sanctions and fines. Responsibilities: * Provide high quality, professional, day-to-day management of a large, on-going regulatory and compliance advisory services engagements that may include Earned Value Management System (EVMS), program management, material management and accounting, and other assigned regulatory and compliance projects * Oversee planning and execution of engagement work, interact with client management, oversee documentation of work, and supervise and review work of staff members * Support the development of client relationships and proposals for new business to help grow existing account revenue for regulatory and compliance services * Assist with the development of new regulatory and compliance methodologies, approaches, and thought leadership to broaden the practice's footprint in the industry Qualifications: * Ability to work in the Dallas metropolitan area on a permanent basis * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline * Master's Degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred * Working knowledge of EVMS, program management, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) requirements, and other federal procurement regulations * Experience managing or leading internal audit and/or large regulatory and compliance advisory engagements to A&D clients * Experience interacting with Administrative Contracting Officers (ACO's), the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or other oversight agencies * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Ability to work independently as well as being a team leader * Experience interacting with senior management and individuals with various levels of experience * Eligible to obtain a Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance within a reasonable time frame KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
