Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Job summary

Conduct/facilitate the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes and seek continuous improvement in business awareness of financial implications of decision making with regards to reports being generated.  Act as main point of contact for corporate wide metrics, ensuring that information is collected and distributed in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Summary of essential job functionsSupervise and oversee the performance of Financial Analysts to ensure adherence to established performance standards.Manage the provision of accurate and timely reports including but not limited to weekly profit estimates, metrics, sales figures, margins, and trends.Identify and deliver developments in planning/forecasting processes ensuring they provide robust business information in an efficient manner.Organize the annual corporate budget process ensuring accurate and timely completion and delivery to all groups.Provide analytical support to enable key decisions across the business pertaining to margin growth.Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of business reports to develop new or improve existing format, use, and control.Review reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution, and purpose/function of reports.Confer with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements.Carry out special projects as assigned by the Executive Management team relating to the operations of the business.Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned

 

 

Minimum Requirements

·  Interpersonal skills, Leadership, PC proficient (Microsoft Office Preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. Proven analytical background.  Sound understanding of planning and budgeting process.  Demonstrated track-record of successful and timely delivery of reports.
