Reports to:  Director of Financial Shared Services

Supervises: Internal Process Auditor

 BASIC FUNCTION

This person is responsible for providing professional and accurate reporting on performance metrics, management information, and other ad hoc requirements.  They will have a leadership role in process documentation and implementing improvements.  They are the contact for Audit and Sox documentation and coordination. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

·  Support the transition of financial processes from various Harman locations to the Financial Shared Services Center.

·  Develop internal control plans including test plans for monitoring accuracy for all FSSC processes.  (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Fixed Assets).  As an example, controls for preventing duplicate payments and improving cash application accuracy.

·  Document processes and procedures making the processes and procedures common wherever applicable.

·  Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce cost, improve efficiency and accuracy.

·  Provide required timed reports for Daily metrics, SLA metrics, management information and ad hoc requirements.

·  Support and coordinate all audit requirements from internal and external auditors.

·  Support the SOX documentation and certification process for all FSSC processes.

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  4 year Degree preferable Accounting or Finance 

Experience:  Audit, SAP, Excel, Word, SOX,

Certifications: Six Sigma, CAPM, PMP
