Manager, Business Performance Services

We are currently seeking a Business Performance Services Manager to join us in our Tysons Corner office. Business Performance Services (BPS) professionals analyze the way companies conduct and drive business performance both financially and operationally. The services we offer can help companies to improve their processes and systems to mitigate risk, improve performance and grow sustainable value. Our professionals perform reviews, identify and assess opportunities for improvements and bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient processes within both finance and operations. Responsibilities: * Lead client engagements and work streams * Help execute financial and accounting analysis and process improvement associated with one or more of the following financial management functional areas: budgeting and forecasting; financial close and consolidation; management and financial reporting; cash management and program accounting; working capital management; shared services; financial transformation * Provide oversight of highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and help ensure timely execution of project deliverables * Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and solution offerings * Assist with the creation of proposals and other business development activities * Manage, motivate and develop team members Qualifications: * BS/BA degree in accounting, business administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university * Five years of combined advisory or relevant industry experience in financial management * CPA certification preferred * Demonstrated experience directing meaningful process and strategy improvements * Experience leading large-scale change initiatives * Familiarity with technology that enables finance solutions (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) * Experience in the development of proposals, deliverables and reports * Seasoned presentation and facilitation skills * Ability to travel extensively KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
