Manager - Accounting/ SEC Reporting

Audatex is currently seeking a seasoned Manager of Accounting & SEC Reporting for our San Diego office.

This role will manage a leading software, services, and data company with its global technical accounting and external reporting operations.

 

• Successful candidate will manage the worldwide accounting consolidation, SEC reporting compliance, and the timely completion of all required reports

• Position will have one direct report.

• Manage entire SEC reporting process including all EDGAR filings.

• Monitor, identify, research and resolve all pertinent accounting issues.

• Access current systems to develop new reporting tools and capabilities.

• Lead the preparation of footnotes for audited financials

Job Requirements:

Interested candidates must have the following:
• BS/ BA in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA, advanced degree preferable (MBA).
• Minimum 7 years experience (Corporate and Big 4); at least 3 years in management role.
• International exposure with focus on European countries.
• Work closely with Foreign Offices in preparing Global Consolidation and Reporting Packages.
• Manage and prepare all SEC filings, 10Q, 10K, 8K, Proxy.
• Research and document technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition and contract accounting issues.
• Ensure proper application with GAAP and SEC rules and assist with SOX compliance.
• Assist with debt reporting, management reporting and analysis.
• Solid skills in database reporting (ACCESS, Data warehouse).
• Participate in Ad hoc projects as necessary.
• Software and service industry experience.
• Ability to identify, delegate and supervise critical path tasks and ensure completion under aggressive timelines.
