Mail Specialist
Responsible for completing all mail functions with a high standard of service and integrity. Ensure prompt delivery of mail to all employees and external contacts. 1. Open and sort incoming mail by delivery route order. 2. Promptly deliver mail to departments/employees and ensure receipt of appropriate signatures. 3. Package, seal, weigh, and meter outgoing mail. 4. Process outgoing FedEx and UPS, including entering address changes. 5. Provide back-up clerical support, as needed. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: All levels of LPL staff and management. Some positions have contact with LPL Advisors. 1. Excellent customer service and communication skills. 2. High standard of professionalism. 3. High level of flexibility. 4. High level of integrity. 5. Excellent team player. 6. Good organizational skills. 7. Good judgment. 8. Detail oriented. 9. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. 10. Sort alpha/numeric documents. 11. Stand for up to four hours. 12. Data entry (8,000-10,000 KPH). 13. Moderate typing and ten key skills.
