M & A Analyst

The Mergis Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with prior M & A or financial services background in valuation.  Senior Financial Analyst / Valuation M & A Analyst:Position Description:  - Key position in high visibility corporate development group.  Group identifies & analyzes potential acquisition / merger candidates, executes mergers and acquisitions with senior management.  Working closely with former investment banker who heads the corporate development group, the canddiate would complete detailed valuation and credit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of corporate acquisitions.  Requirements:- Candidate needs a solid understanding of financial accounting and good modeling skills.- Ability to interface with many levels of management.- Good presentation skills- Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance REQUIRED- Masters degree preferred- 6 + years of experience Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
