Junior Accountant - Banking Liason
Junior Accountant - Banking Liason
Stable and growing family-owned company in Downtown San Diego seeks a Junior Accountant - Banking Liason for their Accounting department. This role will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for developing relationships between the banks and the Accounting department.
Job Duties:
General ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basisCoordinate banking and credit card account mattersSet up new accounts and maintain deposit accountsSupport accounting staff with account research and reconciliation support
Requirements
B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics1-2 years of finance or accounting work experience Ability to pass an accounting test based on debits, credits, and creating a Balance Sheet and Income StatementAbility to interact with internal management as well as support the banking relationshipsAbility to multi-taskStrong attention to detailIntermediate knowledge of Excel and MS OfficeKnowledge of Peoplesoft is a plus
