Jr. HR Generalist
Mid-sized Audit and Consulting firm seeks energetic Jr. HR Generalist to become involved in all aspects of Human Resources including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Resource Management, and Performance Management. Duties include:
§ Scheduling of all Audit Staff on various engagements depending on budget worksheets, client need and staffing capabilities with in the staffing model;
· Assist Director of Human Resources with Recruiting Auditors and Administrative Staff including on-campus recruiting;
· Employee Relations – interact with all levels of management and staff regarding various issues;
· Benefits – Interact with Staff, Services Providers and Brokers to discuss and administer the firm’s various insurance contracts and 401(k) plan;
§ Compile and summarize staff performance evaluations and reviews
§ Conduct employee reference checks
§ Analyze and track Employee Leave Time
§ Track and maintain CPE Library and seminar events
§ Handle new hire orientation
§ Maintain employee personnel and benefit files
Requirements:
College Degree as well as 2 plus years of related Human Resources experience is required. The Generalist will interact with various types of personalities; must have the ability and desire to interact with people when they are at their best and worst. Must have strong analytical skills. Must be able to multitask and respond to shifting priorities. Knowledge of Pro-Staff a plus but not required; must be proficient with computer software (MS Office) and have expertise with spreadsheets. The available position requires good communication skills, both written and verbal and some Travel is required.
