AMS Servicing, LLC is a special servicer with a strong expertise in managing high delinquency residential real estate portfolios. Acquired by Arbor Residential Mortgage in early 2008, AMS Servicing provides customized management and oversight of the individual assets in Arbor Residential Opportunity Fund, a portfolio of distressed and non-performing residential whole loans, REO and securities managed by Arbor Residential Mortgage and owned by investors in the fund.

AMS Servicing offers a tremendous growth opportunity and is managed by executives with over 20 years of experience in default, foreclosure, bankruptcy and REO management, and is based in Williamsville, NY.

 

AMS Servicing, LLC is seeking an Investor Reporting Manager to direct and manage the daily operations of the AMS Investor Accounting and Reporting group.  The Manager will develop operational staff, manage resources and budgets to accomplish corporate goals, ensure that all policies/procedures and federal/state regulations are met and provide timely and accurate financial and investor regulatory reports. 

 

The main responsibilities of this position will be will be:

· Manage month end closing process including investor remittance preparation and analysis.

· Oversee and manage all day-to-day cash operations of the assigned sub-organizational units.

· Responsible for developing and managing investor accounting strategies, policies and procedures to ensure prudent and responsible servicing practices are maintained.

· Manage the Investor Loan Accounting record keeping and related regulatory reporting.

· Manage default receivables.

· Develop management reports that will streamline communications between assigned sub-organizations and Loan Administration management.

· Review and approve accounts payable, i.e., verify that the payables comply with company policy.

· Act as liaison with Corporate Finance department and internal/external auditors, investors, banks, etc.

 

Requirements are as follows:Bachelor degree in Accounting3-5 years of previous management experience in mortgage loan accounting 4 plus years related general accounting experienceExtensive knowledge of all related SOX requirements and Investor Reporting/Accounting with exposure to Securitization transactions.CPA certification a big plus



This position also requires candidates have the ability to manage and mentor a team when necessary, the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, possess excellent problem solving skills and be able to complete assignments on a timely basis.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and other accounting software packages.
