The responsibility of the position will be to manage, review and report on the property specific financial information received from operating partners and property managers with respect to existing investments. Principle Responsibilities- Communicate with operating partners to ensure the timely receipt of projections and statements in acceptable formats - Establish a system for periodic reporting, budget review and financial statement analysis including a comparison of actual financial results to budget and analysis of the variance- Track investor capital accounts and coordinate capital calls, distributions, financial and investor reporting with operating partner- Maintain and update financial models of existing investments, using both Argus and Excel - Calculate realized and projected IRR’s of investments as required for investor reporting- Prepare financial and event driven updates for investors - Maintain documentation of all existing investments - Participate in assessing the cost-benefit of major property leasing and capital investment decisions - Obtain regular real estate market updates from brokers and other sources - Evaluation of financing / recapitalization options for existing investments - Participate in due diligence related to new investments Qualifications - 2-3 years experience in a real estate portfolio manager role - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Argus valuation software - Experience in NYC a must - Strong ability to foster relationships with investors and operating partners - Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and reputation within the financial and investment community Required Skills- Ability to multi-task and work in a very high pressured, fast-paced and team-oriented environment - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability - CPA required - BS in related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Self-starter and able to work independently - Strong ability to foster relationships with investors and operating partners - Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and reputation within the financial and investment community If you have the skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced environment, we offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package and a genuine career opportunity.
