Associates in the New York office of Duff & Phelps? Investment Banking Practice work on a variety of assignments, including buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory, capital raising, fairness opinion and restructuring engagements. Clients cover a broad spectrum of industries and range from middle-market private companies to multi-billion dollar public companies. Responsibilities: Support Senior Associates, VP?s, Directors and MD?s on all aspects of transaction origination and execution Draft Information Memoranda, board and management presentations, and marketing documentsWork with client senior management teams to perform financial analyses, develop robust financial models and prepare due diligence materialsPerform industry research and analysis on comparable public companies and transactions Requirements:Minimum of 2 years direct, sell-side, M&A experienceBachelor's Degree Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 Demonstrates a thorough understanding of financial statement analysis, financial modeling, the M&A and capital raising process, and company valuation techniques Series 7 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 2 months) Dedication to teamwork, demonstrated leadership experience and commitment to client service Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Flexibility to travel and work extended hours, as needed Duff & Phelps is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment.
