Investment Accountant

NBS Real Estate Capital, LLC, a boutique private equity real estate fund manager seeks an Investment Accountant. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:  This position will maintain the general ledgers for multiple entities in our real estate portfolios as well as the preparation of (by entity): Monthly financial statement package including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. General ledger account and bank reconciliations. Monthly cash forecasts. Quarterly distributions.

 

Other Responsibilities: Review of CAM reconciliations and annual budgets. Closing statement reconciliations. Cash management. A primary contact with equity partners, borrowers, lenders, insurance broker and third-party property managers. Contact with outside audit and tax firm personnel. Other asset management duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: B.S. in Accounting or Finance preferred. Five years progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate. Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel, Access and Outlook. MRI, Argus experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple demands in a busy environment. Well organized, self-motivated, and works independently.
