Inventory Accountant with Oracel Experience Needed!

· Perform all month-end inventory-related journal entries and account analysis to provide an accurate valuation and reporting of inventory in the P&L and Balance Sheet

· Responsible for closing the Inventory and Purchasing sub ledger of ERP system

· Monitor & audit of correct GL segment assigned to inventory parts and items

· Maintain GL-to-perpetual inventory reconciliation for distribution center & 3PLs perpetual system and VMI system,

 

 

 

· Monitor, research, and remediate inventory layer costing discrepancies,

· Maintain automated accounting instructions in companywide ERP system to ensure proper accounting treatment of inventory-related transactions,

· Monitor financial impact of cycle count adjustment activity for both distribution center and 3PLs cycle count processes

· Ensure accuracy of FIFO inventory valuation across the multiple inventory organizations

· Analyze the aging of inventory balances

· Assist with system design and implementation of inventory transaction processing improvements,

· Opportunity to lead the development and implementation of inventory-related operating policies and procedures,

· Working knowledge or Oracle required or extensive experience with an ERP System.

· BA Degree required
