This position’s basic function is to support the Accounting Department’s daily operation with heavy emphasis inventory management, including exceptions, returns, refunds, change orders.    REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: BS in Accounting/BA or BS in Business or directly related field Minimum of 2 years accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP Strong computer skills including Excel, Word & MS Outlook Ability to query data bases is a plus! POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform monthly bank account reconciliations. Monthly non cash account reconciliations for GL accounts. Prepare and upload monthly and general journal entries. Research and resolve problems pertaining to sales order support Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding returns, refunds, change orders, order cancellations, etc. Prepare schedules required for the external financial audit as assigned.   REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Detail oriented, methodical, meticulous, and process-oriented person. Strong task planning and tracking capabilities; strong diagnostic, analytic, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills. Ambitious self-starter with get-it-done attitude who strives for results and performs well under pressure.
