Internternal Audit

A $2.5 billion financial holding company with three principal businesses: lift trucks, housewares and lignite coal mining is seeking a Experienced Internal Auditor based out of our headquarters located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. 

The ideal candidate will bring prior knowledge and expertise in areas of business controls and processes, auditing and accounting theory and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines. 

Must possess general knowledge in information technology as it impacts business processes and internal controls. 

Qualified candidates should have 1-2 years experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or equivalent experience in industry as a lead auditor.  Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in business (finance or accounting focus preferred) and have earned a CPA, CIA, or Master's degree.  Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills; competency with MS Office software, lead by example and have strong leadership abilities. 

Position requires 50% travel to various sites domestically and internationally (including but not limited to Mexico, Scotland and other European sites, and Australia).

Responsibilities will include planning audit engagements, delegation, review and supervision of staff auditors, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, reporting financial and operation audit findings and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions or operation improvements.
