Your tasks
The Royalty Administrator's responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
Receive, review, analyze, validate and process royalty reports submitted by worldwide SONY/BMG Affiliates/Licensees and subsequently remit to respective internal/external record companies
Identify and resolve inaccuracy and/or discrepancies between reporting received and the data stored within SONY/BMG's worldwide databases
Analyze royalty computations to verify adherence to contractual terms and agreements
Reconcile various Account Receivable and Third Party Liability account balances on the sub ledger, including the preparation of invoices and credit memos
Research and correct accounting discrepancies related to royalty activity and payment
Provide recommendations to various SONY/BMG Affiliates/Licensees for improvement in royalty reporting.
Ongoing interaction with management regarding royalty reporting concerns
Special Projects as needed


Our requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
Proficiency in Excel
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time productivity
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to analyze and review information from several different sources (corporate systems)
Capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment
Excellent leadership skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Initiative, always striving to improve things.
