Internal Controls Specialist

Responsibilities: Maintain and update SOX documentation Assess risk of business endeavors and identify potential areas of exposure Develop and execute plans to test internal controls Coordinate with external auditors on issues of internal controls Present findings of testing to senior management and audit committee on a regular basis Evaluate processes and procedures for adequate workflow and recommend improvements as neededRequirements: 5 years of accounting experience to include at least 2 years of internal audit experience Exposure to SOX a plus CPA or CIA requiredThis is a salaried position with a discretionary bonus and limited overnight travel requirements.
