Internal Auditor - SC travel only !!!

INTERNAL AUDITOR - IMMEDIATE NEED !!!!

Our client is a leader in the banking industry and they are seeking to add an Internal Auditor to their growing team. This position will ideally be based out of Charleston and requires frequent travel throughout the Lowcountry and Coastal Areas of South Carolina.

Responsibilities: Schedule and visit bank locations each quarter in order to ensure financial and operational compliance Perform risk-focused tests to ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Use continuous monitoring and on-site risk evaluations to evaluate and analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of controls Perform cash counts and loan reviews Document findings and interface with line management to obtain an appropriate response Prepare clear, concise and persuasive risk evaluation reports and other documents summarizing level of risk, scope, findings, recommendations and the current status of the issues

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or similar field Minimum 1 year of audit experience Must be a self-starter that works well independently or as part of a team Must be extremely organized with solid attention to detail

Professional presentation and well-developed interpersonal skills are important for this role



Travel is primarily day trips but can include overnight stays from time to time. Laptop and cell phone are provided.  Mileage is paid as well.  Benefits include 100% paid insurance for employee, 401k, Profit Sharing and PTO.
