THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 – 3 years management experience in commercial insurance accounting. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Supervise carrier payables and collection staffConduct monthly meetings with insurance teamsWork with staff to research and resolve discrepancies with clients and production teamsReview operational reports related to Accounts Receivable, Collections and FinancingReview monthly open direct bill receivable reportsMake regular follow up calls to carriers for open direct bill commissionsPerform additional projects as assigned 

Requirements:

 2 – 3 years of accounting or operational experience in commercial insurance  Associates or Bachelors degree in AccountingKnowledge of AMS/Sagitta is preferred.Proficient in MS Office products Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-taskKnowledge of collection laws and Premium financingSuperior communication skills to effectively disseminate informationAbility to work independently in a team oriented environment
