IT PMO Solutions Analyst

POSITION SUMMARYThe IT PMO Solutions Analyst works with IT Project Management Office ( PMO ) leadership to continue planning and deploying CA Clarity functionality in line with new and existing PMO process and operations.  This position reports to the Manager, Project Portfolio Management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Participate in plans to optimize the integration and use of tools by the PMO by designing, developing and deploying technical solutions to PMO processes and issues.-Perform both functional and technical management and support of those tools.-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion. -Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis. -Perform other job-related duties as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS-Bachelors in computer science, management information systems, or business-7+ years IT experience.-5+ years SQL experience.-3+ years of analysis and reporting experience.-2+ years of working in a PMO environment.-Experience working with applications support and management.-Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office, Project, Visio and SharePoint.-CA Clarity or similar experience a plus-Business Objects, Crystal Reports and / or XML experience a plus.-Strong project management and business analysis skills -Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and problem solve system issues.-Broad understanding of project lifecycle including systems analysis, training, infrastructure and testing as well as code development and systems implementation.-Strong understanding of portfolio, demand, and resource management processes a plus.-Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.-Excellent planning and organization skills.-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
