Position Summary:

Responsible for timely resolution of all receivables, both past due and items approaching past due, while maintaining customer patronage. Build positive internal and external customer relationships through daily, direct customer contact. Develop a preplan to ensure all accounts are systematically addressed in a timely manner. Achieve aging and cash standards by performing the necessary collection efforts. Assist and support fellow associates on collection matters as needed within the department. Perform special projects on set priorities as determined by departmental manager. This position will manage multiple high-tier accounts and a large multi-million dollar portfolioSkills/Behaviors Must be assertive yet diplomatic, keeping the company’s best interest in mind, while offering viable alternatives to the customer. Must be self-motivated, customer focused and committed to quality in order to best represent the company. Must exhibit a willingness to learn in order to adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of our industry. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Establish effective courses of action; prioritizes work assignments to meet deadlines; follows up timely to insure problems are resolved. Minimum 2 years of collections experience.
