Healthcare Senior Financial Analyst
General Purpose:
The purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide financial analysis of existing and proposed programs, prepare ROI calculations for capital projects, assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget, coordinate components in the preparation of the various government cost reports, and other projects as assigned. This position is eligible for the Finance Department career ladder which provides additional responsibilities and salary within this job title based on skills.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinates in-depth financial analysis of current programs by timeframe assigned
· Coordinates in-depth financial analysis of proposed programs by timeframe assigned
· Assists with the coordination of the annual operating budget as assigned
· Coordinates components in the preparation of the annual cost reports, completing work papers and other projects as assigned
· Prepares ROI analysis for proposed capital projects. Communicates results
· Special projects are completed on a timely basis and supported by necessary documentation
· Hospital and Department policies and procedures regarding performance, conduct, attendance, confidentiality, hospitality and other general items are adhered to in an appropriate manner
· Maintains current and up-to-date skills in the use and application of all available tools that would enhance performance and optimize productivity
Minimum Requirements:
· BS in Accounting, CPA preferred, but not required
· Four (4) or more years of accounting and/or finance experience in healthcare preferred
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects
