Great Finance Manager and Tax Role!

Financial Reporting Manager and Tax Accountant Needed!

Large Transportation company in Concord, CAneeds a Manager, Financial Reporting and a solid Tax Accountant.

Financial Reporting Manager:

· Provides all consolidated internal and external financial reporting for the company.

· Assure all reporting is completed in accordance to GAAP.

· Follow regulatory reporting requirements.

· Manage and direct the completion of all the company’s financial reports including:

SEC reports (10Q, 10K), Monthly Management Financial Reports, Regulatory reporting, and Misc. reports as needed.

· Accumulate various financial data from other departments.





  Cordinate  quarterly and annual audit activities assigned to internal and external auditors.

· Few or no direct reports, very hands on.

· Bachelors degree in accounting or finance

· CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of SAP helpful.

Tax Accountant:

· Responsible for tax compliance relating to IRS and state reporting requirements.

· Direct/coordinate all company tax matters.

· Internal preparation of all state, local and federal income, property, sales, and other misc. tax returns. And estimated tax payments.

· Responsible for state qualifications and annual report filings.

· Prepare quarterly income tax provision and related footnotes (FAS 109).

· Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as they pertain to tax matters.

· Coordinate complex multi-state and federal tax compliance.

· Familiarity with Fasttax, Best FAS (fixed assets) and RIA research.

· Bachelors in Accounting or Finance a necessity, MBA or CPA preferred.

· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
