Global Trade Solutions Senior Consultant The global trade specialists of Deloitte Tax LLP ("Deloitte Tax") help companies understand national and international trade requirements and align the trade function with business objectives. Our Global Trade Solutions Group, a national practice within Deloitte Tax's International Tax business, advises U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance. The Global Trade Solutions Group is composed of attorneys, operations experts, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals who help importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies and advantages in their global supply chain. The group works with clients to assess and potentially automate their international trade management procedures within all major trading regions. We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant for our Global Trade Solutions Group. Requirements include: - demonstrated interest in international trade or international business - at least 2 years of import and/or export experience (operational, government, law firm, consulting)    - experience with Customs regulations and research skills - working knowledge of U.S. Customs valuation, classification and special trade programs - strong research, writing, communication and project management skills - data management and analysis experience - familiarity with global trade management software, as well as software aptitude in Access, Excel, and/or Visio - US Customs Broker License preferred - experience with SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise resource planning systems helpful - bachelors degree in business related field required; advance degree preferred - foreign language skills or study abroad - some travel required  About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
